Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab has started arranging blankets, tents and mats for flood affected victims to save them from coming winter. PPP Punjab Acting President Sami Ullah Khan urged the political parties, philanthropists and party workers to focus on winter-relating arrangements for flood victims.
He said the PPP Punjab has conducted a detailed survey of the flood-hit areas, drawing results that these areas are becoming comparatively cold due to wet land and rains. He said the flood hit areas' inhabitants have started experiencing cold weather during the night and soon the weather would be unbearable for them. PPP Punjab, he said, has urged the party workers to focus on winter relating relief goods for the flood victims to avoid impacts of weather change there. He said areas including Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Rajanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bhakkar, Mianwali and Shahpur are in dire need of such relief items.
