Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan has said that any conspiracy being hatched by anti-state elements against the Azad Jammu Kashmir would be foiled in a befitting manner. This he stated while talking to media during his visit here on Monday. The AJK PM said that terrorists and other elements wanted to derail peace and tranquility in Azad Jammu Kashmir.
He made it clear that any such move would be given an exemplary response. Condemning the terrorist activity in Rawlakot in which a suicide bomber blew himself up resulting in damage to several shops besides a vehicle, the Prime Minister said that such cowardly act could not deter the resolve of the AJK government.
He said that the government was fully alert and capable to defend the motherland. He urged the people to forge unity among their ranks to foil enemies' designs in a befitting manner. He appreciated the bomb disposable squad for defusing the explosive device well in time, as it could have harmed more people and buildings. Earlier, addressing a meeting here at Circuit House, he assured that all measures would be taken to maintain law and order situation in the liberated territory.
