The Orientation Session of the Fall 2010 Batch of Graduate and Undergraduate students of IBA was held on Tuesday at the City Campus. The session was attended by almost 500 newly inducted students. Dean & Director IBA Dr Ishrat Husain welcomed the newcomers and briefed them about IBA progress and vision for future. It was followed by faculty introduction by the associate deans and student counsellor's briefing on the functioning of 27 IBA student societies.
Subsequently students were taken in groups for a campus tour. Students who had opted for the main campus were commuted by special buses to the campus for a visit of the newly inaugurated facilities. On completion of their respective campus tour, the new arrivals attended a 'Fresher Fair' which included over 30 stalls set up by the various student societies, programme offices, administration department and hostels. Students' handbook, code of conduct and other guiding material was also distributed among new entrants.-PR
