Ian Pont has been appointed bowling coach of Bangladesh after former South Africa all-rounder Lance Klusener declined the role. Englishman Pont was formerly bowling coach for the Netherlands for two years up until the 2007 World Cup. The 49-year-old, who played for Nottinghamshire and Essex in his county career, is the author of the coaching manual 'The Fast Bowler's Bible'.
