Senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement and former chairman of Co-ordination Committee, Dr Imran Farooq was killed near his home in central London on Thursday. According to a private channel, some assassins attacked Dr Imran Farooq with knives near his home in London. Some sources said that he was attacked with fire arms.
He was taken to hospital in critical condition where he breathed his last during medical treatment. According to a report, Dr Imran's bodyguard attacked him in his flat. While another report said that he was attacked by unknown assassins near his home when he was going out from his home. Later, MQM had cancelled celebration of Altaf Hussain's 57th birth anniversary.
