Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary Information Fauzia Wahab has alleged that the management of Punjab government is supporting and facilitating the defunct Jamat-ud-Dawa (JUD) by allowing it to participate actively in the on-going relief activities in flood affected areas.
PPP Secretary Information on Tuesday told the National Assembly that federal government and United Nations have banned Jamat-ud-Dawa, however, the outfit is active in Punjab again due to the support of provincial administration. "Despite ban, it had also staged a huge procession recently and got published its advertisement in two renowned national dailies, she said. She demanded imposition of complete ban on its advertisement, adding that they should not give importance to it.
