President Anjuman-e-Tajran Badami Bagh Waqar Ahmad Mian has congratulated the LCCI newly elected President Shahzad Ali Malik, Senior Vice President Sheikh Muhammad Arshad and Vice President Sohail Azhar and expressed the hope that the LCCI new office-bearers would meet the expectations of business community.
Waqar Ahmad in a statement on Friday said that Shahzad Ali Malik and Sohail Azahr belonging to Badami Bagh, was a great honour for the traders of Badami Bagh. He said that the Saarc Vice President, former LCCI and FPCCI President Iftikhar Ali Malik also belongs to this historic market and highlighted the name of Badami Bagh not only in the country but globally.
He said that serious economic problems, energy crisis and worsening law and order situation were posing so many big challenges for the country. He said that the LCCI new office-bearers have to struggle and speak out throughout the year to resolve these issues. He said that the business community in this struggle would be standing shoulder to shoulder with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and extend best co-operation to succeed the efforts of Shahzad Ali Malik, Sheikh Muhammad Arshad and Sohail Azhar.
