Partly Facetious: Government's ad campaign has gone into overdrive?
"Have you seen the latest Kaira Ministry sponsored advertisements?"
"Yes he is referring to the love of one's country, denouncing dictatorship and..."
"Right, right but I was thinking of the six photographs in the advert."
"Let me guess...Kaira is in all the pictures."
"Indeed that is his right. You tell me any advert sponsored by any ministry that does not display the picture of the minister! And Kaira has humility you must admit. I mean in none of the pictures is he in the center."
"If he had been then that would be political hara-kiri."
"Right so he is to the left of the Prime Minister who, in turn, is to the left of the President."
"Indeed but neither of the three men are turned towards each other."
"Good sense again - they are focused on the reader."
"But Gilani must take exception to his picture. I mean Angelina Jolie would not have recommended him for a role in Hollywood had she seen this photograph of his."
"I agree, it's an expression that shows he is not comfortable, you know when he is being asked tough questions...."
"What do you mean?"
"His lower mouth is kinda pinched reminding me of a...of a pout you know like that of a small child."
"Isn't Benazir Bhutto in that picture?"
"Yes and her father."
"Who else?"
"Quaid-e-Azam for a change."
"I guess Kaira is making sure that no one takes exception to the advert."
"I guess. That covers all as far as Kaira is concerned."
"Rehman Malik is not in the picture and I mean it figuratively."
"Oh yes he still is, he says he is no longer an NRO beneficiary, what with getting himself exonerated and pardoned."
"That's a double jeopardy if I ever heard one."
"Don't be facetious."
