Former Pakistani all rounder Abdul Razzaq has reportedly decided to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The cricketer will be officially announcing his union with the party after he meets PTI chairman Imran Khan. According to local media, during a meeting with PTI leader Usman Dar, Razzaq showed his willingness to join the party.

Dar also tweeted a picture of himself draping a PTI scarf around Razzaq. However, Dar did not completely reveal whether or not Razzaq has officially joined the party.

The all-rounder had announced his retirement from the international cricket in June this year after being a part of the national team for the last time in 2013.

Meanwhile as elections approach, PTI is rounding up big names. Few days back, former Sindh Governor Mumtaz Bhutto’s Sindh National Front was merged with PTI with the aim to give the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party a tough time.
