Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Thursday announced increase in furnace oil prices upto Rs 783 per ton due to continuous rising trend in the world oil prices, dealers said. They said all the leading OMCs including Pakistan State Oil and Shell Pakistan have raised furnace oil prices in the domestic market.
With increase of Rs 783 per ton imported furnace oil prices have reached Rs 47,857 per ton, while furnace oil of Parco rose to Rs 49,891 per ton after increase of Rs 484 per ton. In addition, local refineries furnace oil prices have surged to Rs 47,610 per ton from Rs 47,254 per ton in the domestic market.
