President PML-Like Minded Group, Senator Saleem Saifullah Khan has said that five factions of Pakistan Muslim League (PML) have been unified and contacts have been made with Sharif brothers for unification of the rest of the groups. He said that they are trying to give a single and unified PML to the country, adding that they are in contact with the leadership of all the factions.
Saifullah informed that an amendment is underway to close doors of offices of Prime Minister and president on those having dual nationalities. Even after completion of office, he added, living in Pakistan would be made compulsory to close 'doors of escape'.
He further said signing of agreements with International Monetary Fund (IMF) by the rulers would be prohibited, as such arrangements have always proved disastrous for the country. PML leader said that the government is only paying lip services for the province, adding that despite achievement of the provincial autonomy, no revolutionary step has been made for the province to benefit common man. He alleged that the government is fully in knowledge of all those groups spreading terrorism in Karachi, but has failed to put hands on them, which has resulted in increase in incidents of kidnapping for ransom, murders etc.
