Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik has said that efforts were being made to place the names of absconding terrorists on Exit Control List (ECL). Talking to media persons after attending a meeting on law and order situation here Saturday at the camp office of National Crisis Management Cell, he said that all channels, including the assistance of Interpol will be sought, to bring back culprits involved in target killings or any acts of terrorism.
He said that the government was keeping a liaison with all the foreign countries concerned in this regard. The minister said that FIA has made visible improvement to curb the menace of 'Hawala Business' and it helped improve the transfer of money through legal channels. He said that the FIA has been directed to check the illegal business of 'agents' working outside the offices of FIA and the Nadra as the staff of these departments were working efficiently.
