13 motorcycle lifters arrested, 70 motorcycles worth Rs 2.96 million recovered
Anti Motorcycle Lifting Staff have arrested 13 motorcycle lifters of three motorcycle lifter gangs including their ringleaders, and recovered 70 motorcycles worth Rs 2.96 million from their possession. The criminals have confessed to 70 cases of motorcycle lifting during preliminary interrogation.
According to the details, on the directive of Capital City Police Officer, Muhammad Aslam Tareen, SSP Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed directed SP CRO Sajjad Ahmad Manj to take effective measures against motorcycle lifter gangs. SP CRO constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP Anti Motorcycle Lifting Staff Yaqoob Awan comprising Sub-Inspector Talib Hussain, Bisharat Ali, Abdul Jabbar, Tabaruk Hussain, Sajid Mehmood, Arif Hussain and other police officials.
The police team worked hard day and night and collected particulars of three motorcycle lifter gangs and arrested their 13 culprits, including their ringleaders. Police have recovered 70 Motorcycles from them and 70 cases have also been traced against them in different Police Stations of Lahore. The arrested were identified as Rana Faheem s/o Rana Arshad, Muhammad Ramzan s/o Ghulam Fareed, Muhammad Bashir s/o Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Qasir s/o Muhammad Ibraheem, Nasir alias Chand s/o Shaukat, Muhammad Shahzad s/o Maqsood Khan, Ali Ayaz s/o Abdul Sittar, Muhammad Azam s/o Muhammad Shareef, Muhammad Abid s/o Muhammad Aslam, Tanzeem Amin s/o Muhammad Amin, Manzoor Qadar s/o Ghulam Muhammad, Asad Nawaz s/o Shah Nawaz and Khuram Shahzad s/o Muhammad Jamil.
