DCO Naseem Sadiq has directed the concerned officers to monitor the departmental working at Union Council level by following a joint line of action for providing every possible relief to the public at grass root level. He was presiding over a joint meeting of DDOs Revenue and TMOS at his office committee room here on Wednesday.
EDO Finance Syed Irshad Hussain, DOR Kirn Khurshid and DOC Chaudhry, Munir were also present in the meeting. The DCO directed to make the cleanliness system affective and regular in their respective jurisdiction and chronic heaps of garbage should immediately be removed, besides ensuring germicides spray. He said that the people should be aware of the precautionary measures to avoid the dengue fever and departmental responsibility be fulfilled in this regard.
Expressing his displeasure over the presence of wall chalking at various sites, he warned the TMOs to get the wall chalking immediately be removed and verification certificate to this effect be produced. He directed to keep an eye on the performance of veterinary hospitals, BHUs, RHCs and the offices of the lower formation of different department and dismantle machinery, machinery, furniture and other useless articles should immediately be disposed off and the income from it be deposited to the government treasury.
The DCO stressed upon the 100 percent recovery of government's dues and said that the problems of the applicants relating to the revenue department should be redressed without delay. He urged that the tasks assigned by the board of revenue should be completed within stipulated time, no laxity in this regard would be tolerated. He directed the officers to maintain good governance in their offices and uplift projects of public welfare should be completed with hardworking and good intention. DOR informed the meeting about the pace of recovery of government dues and said that the performance of revenue officers was being monitored regularly to achieve the target.
