Community link Programme, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), distributed relief goods among two-hundred flood affected families in Charsada and its surrounding areas on Thursday. A spokesperson said that relief goods including clothes, pulses, rice, shoes, towels, coolers and other household goods as well as bags of ration were distributed among 200 families. The bags of ration contained dry ration, milk, biscuits and water etc.
Speaking on the occasion, project director of the NGO, Canth Shakil stressed the need to help the flood victims, as they are passing through a crucial juncture of life. He appealed people from all walks of life to come forward and help their brethren who are waiting for their help. Besides, free medical camp was also organised. The camp provided various check-ups, consultation and medical test such as blood sugar, blood pressure, general medicine, gynaecology and internal medicines.-PR
