ISE index gains 17.50 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 17.50 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,610.22 to 2,627.72 points. The overall turnover amounted to 143,749 shares as compared to previous volume of 176,951 shares.
Total 155 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (84) closed in positive territory, 71 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of Lafarage Pakistan Cement was 44,247 shares. The volume of Attock Refinery was 30,551 shares. The turnover of Lotte Pakistan PTA was 25,800 shares.
