President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday night hosted a farewell dinner in honour of the outgoing US Ambassador Ms Anne W Patterson here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr. The dinner was attended among others by Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Foreign Minister, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Interior Minister, Senator Rehman A. Malik, Minister for Water and Power, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Petroleum Minister, Syed Naveed Qamar and Secretary General to President, M Salman Faruqui.
The President while speaking on the occasion eulogised the valuable services of the outgoing ambassador for further strengthening Pak-US bilateral relationship. He also praised her working towards long term Pak-US strategic partnership.
