President Asif Ali Zardari has refused to accept the resignation of Governor Sindh, Dr Ishratul Ibad's, a private TV channel reported on late Sunday night.
According to the channel, during a meeting with the Governor Sindh at President's House, Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari condemned targeted killings in Karachi and assured that those behind the incidents would be brought to justice and would be dealt with iron hands.
APP adds from Islamabad: Governor Sindh called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr and briefed him on the law and order situation with particular reference to the targeted killings in Karachi during the last two days.
The President condemned the target killings in Karachi and expressed his condolences to the bereaved families. The President said an inquiry will be held into these incidents and perpetrators of the crime will be brought to justice irrespective of their positions.
