Nguyen Viet Hung, Ambassador of Vietnam held a meeting with Federal Minister for Livestock & Dairy Development Mir Humayun Aziz Kurd here in his office on Tuesday. K.M. Siddiq Akbar, Additional Secretary Incharge, Ministry of Livestock & Dairy Development was also present during the meeting.
The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and explored ways and means of enhancing mutual co-operation in the fields of livestock, dairy development with particular emphasis on fisheries. Both sides agreed that there exists huge potential to develop cooperation in these sectors.
Minister accepted the proposal of sending a delegation to Vietnam in November to attend Joint Working Group Meeting to work out joint collaboration projects on production of pungas fish, which is Vietnam's specially being the largest export of pangasas world over. The Ambassador of Vietnam thanked the Minister. The minister expressed confidence that a mutually beneficial relationship can be evolved between the two countries.-PR
