He said that talented students from these areas had always faced lack of resources that could have helped them pursue a bright career. He said that unfortunately Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been involved in the war against terrorism, but in fact by tradition this province had never been a land of terrorism and extremism and always known as the soil for promoting education, culture and civilisation.
He said that people of this province every time voted for peace and democracy. Announcing establishment of first girls college in Banda Daud Shah of Karak district, Afrasiab Khattak asked MOL Pakistan to also concentrate on strengthening of health and other uplift facilities for the people of the oil and gas exploration and producing areas.

Janos Feher said MOL Pakistan has shown its unflinching confidence in People of Pakistan in general and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular. MOL Pakistan, he said has always supported the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan by dispatching different consignment of relief items to the disaster hit areas.
Whether it was earthquake in 2005, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPS) due to operation of Malakand in 2009 or flood victims of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in 2010, MOL has always come forward to mitigate the sufferings of those affected.
