Tit for tat: SmackDown went under siege | Brecorder.com

SmackDown Live finally got the taste of their own medicine, as Raw strike back with full force exactly 22 days after the blue brand put the red brand under siege.

Similar to the New Day’s invasion, the Shied, who will face the team of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E (New Day) at Survivor Series, kicked off the invasion during the matchup of former WWE Tag champs.

In the middle of a New Day versus Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn tag match, the sounds of The Shield’s entrance music played over the loudspeakers and the arena lost their minds. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (The Shield) typically circled the ring then Owens and Zayn bounced. Then it was on.

The Usos came to the aid of the New Day but were stopped by the RAW Tag Champs the Bar. Then the flood gates opened and it was complete anarchy as 20-man Raw roster team rushed the ring all at once.

Team SmackDown emptied their locker room before the Monster Among Men was unleashed on the Tuesday night show.

Braun Strowman walked down the ring and turned the tides clearly in Raw’s favor. Leaving Shane McMahon alone in the ring and paying the price for Under Siege part one.

Despite his attempt to prep his troops, McMahon was left alone in the ring to eat finishers from The Shield and even Kurt Angle got in on the action, providing Shane-O with an Olympic slam.
