A police constable died while fishing in Indus River, here on Sunday. Police said constable Sami Ullah was fishing in Indus River when he slipped and fell into deep water. People alongside the river tried to rescue him but in vain. Sami's body was later retrieved from the river and handed over to heirs. The constable, a resident of Panyala, was posted in Park Police station, D.I.Khan.
