Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani on Thursday called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik and discussed security situation of the province. Provincial Minister for Finance Mir Asim Kurd and Inspector General Balochistan Muhammad Iqbal were also present on the occasion. Interior Minister appreciated the efforts of provincial government in maintaining peace and security situation in the province.
He assured all possible support of the federal government in maintaining peace and order in Balochistan. Malik maintained that the government is serious for the development and uplift of the province and prosperity of the people, adding that Aghaz-e-Haqooq Balochistan is the best example in this regard.
Interior Minister informed that the federal government would provide its full support for enhancing the capability and capacities of Balochistan police. Chief Minister Balochistan thanked for assuring support of the federal government for improving the law and order and security situation in the province.
Meanwhile, Spanish ambassador to Pakistan also called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik and discussed matters of mutual interests. Interior Minister said that Pakistan attaches great value to its relations with Spain and wishes to work for the improvement in these ties.
