Elimination of corruption from judiciary: 'SCBA to furnish its recommendations'

President Supreme Court Bar Association, Asma Jahangir has said the bar would furnish its recommendations for elimination of corruption from judiciary. While talking to media during her visit to Lahore High Court Bar Association here on Friday she said she contested election on a single point agenda of lawyers' welfare and will serve the community sincerely.
She pointed out during the tenure of former presidents Ali Ahmad Kurd the bar had been involved in politics and the issues of lawyer's welfare remained neglected. Answering a media query she said she had reservations on some verdicts of judiciary but the bar would not take any step in this regard without the consent of lawyers.
