Breaking all previous records, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) received 1,327,940 income tax returns this year. According to provisional results released by the FBR late Saturday night, the tax paid with returns is over Rs 5.3 billion. The FBR has shown this remarkable performance due to collective efforts of the FBR Member Direct Taxes Policy Israr Rauf and the FBR Member Domestic Operations North and South.
