The National Institute of Health (NIH) confirmed on Thursday that so far 31 deaths have been reported from dengue fever throughout the country. According to official sources, 17 deaths have been reported from Sindh, two from the federal capital, two from Rawalpindi, five from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and five from Azad Jammu and Kashmir. They said total 5,405 patients suffering from dengue fever have been receiving treatment from public and private hospitals in different cities.
