Being desirous of strengthening trade-economic relations between Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CC&I) of the Republic of Tajikistan and Pakistan Sri Lanka Business Forum, Karachi, Pakistan hereinafter called the parties have entered into the Memorandum of Understanding on co-operation, as follows:
1. The Parties shall co-operate and do their utmost to further improve and expand the trade-economic relations, investments and foundation of joint ventures between the Republic of Tajikistan and Pakistan.
2. The Parties shall regularly exchange information and views on expansion of trade between the two countries. To achieve this objective, it is mutually agreed that each contracting party shall supply the other with trade information and publications.
3. Every possible facility and assistance shall be accorded by businessmen trade mission from Pakistan Sri Lanka Business Forum, Karachi, Pakistan visiting the Republic of Tajikistan and vice versa.
4. The Parties agree to assist each other in the participation in trade fairs, exhibitions and exposition.
5. The Parties agree to support and encourage exchange of trade delegation and missions, as well as visits of businessmen either individually or in group between the countries.
6. The Parties shall take all necessary steps to ensure that this Memorandum of Understanding works to their mutual benefit, and that it is jointly reviewed occasionally.
7. The MoU shall enter into force on the date of signature and shall remain in force for a period of five years. It may be renewed for a future period of 5 years subject to agreement of both parties. Done at this day of October "21st", 2010 in two original copies in English language.
8. All actions will be taken within the framework of legislations of the Republic of Tajikistan and Pakistan. Chairman President, Said Sharif Abdul Rauf Tabani.-PR
