Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has expressed shock and resentment over Pakistan Olympic Association (POA)'s decision to exclude the most popular game of football from the 31st National Games to be staged in Peshawar in December this year.
The PFF's Secretary General Lieutenant.Colonel Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi (Retd) has said that such decisions will send negative impression to all those who are associated with the game or want to seek their future in it. The decision to exclude the game of football from National Games has raised several eyebrows, he said.
Lodhi said: "Football is most-watched game in Pakistan but the way it has been treated is insulting. All the World Cuppers, Olympians are furious over the omission and are looking forward to condemn this ruling in every possible way."
The PFF's Secretary General Lieutenant.Colonel Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi (Retd) also wrote a letter to POA President Lieutenant General Syed Arif Hasan (Retd).
