Muttehida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday held the Qul Khawani for eisal-e-sawab of Shaheed Dr Imran Farooq in the Zonal office which was largely attended by the citizens, lawyers, journalists and people from all walks of life.
Karamat Sheikh, Iftikhar Randhawa, Rana Irfan, Shamsher Hashmi paid rich tributes to the deceased and said his memory would never fade away and his services and sacrifices for the MQM movement would never be forgotten. Ever since Dr Imran Farooq was a student, he struggled for the rights of the oppressed, downtrodden people and sacrificed everything for the noble mission, they remarked, adding that he remained steadfast and constant in the face of extreme hardships and redeemed his pledge by sacrificing his valuable life.
MQM Leaders said the sacrifices rendered by Dr Imran Farooq would never be forgotten. "He will remain alive in our heart and the hearts of supporters of MQM forever. His blood will herald a revolution for the poor and middle class in the country," they stated. The leaders stated the entire nation was struck with grief. "We salute the workers and the people on the way they paid homage to their great leader," they added.
