Another journalist has been beaten up in the Moscow region, two days after a savage attack on a leading reporter shocked Russia, reports said Monday. Anatoly Adamchuk, who writes for the Zhukovskie Vesti newspaper in the Zhukovsky area of south-eastern Moscow, was beaten early Monday, leaving him with head wounds, his colleague Sergei Grammatin told Moscow Echo radio.
"He was attacked by two unknown individuals and hit on the back of his head and then hit again when he was on the ground," he said. "He has head wounds and light concussion. Now he is at home and recovering." A security source confirmed the incident but said the details were not yet clear, the ITAR-TASS news agency reported.
