Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday visited the Mazar of Hazrat Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and laid a flower wreath and also offered Fateha. Special prayers were offered on this occasion for the progress and prosperity of the country. The Chief Minister also recorded his impressions in the visitors' book placed at the Mazar.
Members of national and provincial Assemblies, Commissioner and District Co-ordination Officer Lahore and senior officer were also present on this occasion. Meanwhile, later the CM went to the residence of President Anjuman-e-Tajran Pakistan late Haji Maqsood Butt in Model Town and condoled with the bereaved family. He also offered Fateha for the departed soul.
