Anti Smuggling Organisation (ASO) of Preventive Collectorate, Customs has seized over 127,144 litres of smuggled Iranian petrol and diesel during a weeklong strict vigilance. In a statement issued here on Thursday, the ASO, on the directives of the directors of Member Customs FBR, has started crackdown against the bootleggers involved in the smuggling of Iranian POL products.
As a result of the said exercise, the department has established seven cases and has confiscated over 127,144 liters of smuggled Iranian petrol and diesel along with oil tankers during one week.-PR
