Hearing of fake degree case postponed to November 16

An election tribunal has postponed hearing of a petition filed against PML-N MNA Malik Riaz to November 16. Asif Hashmi, Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), a defeated candidate from NA-118 Lahore, alleged that Riaz Malik possesses fake BA degree and thus is liable to be declared disqualified under article 62 and 63 of the constitution.
Hashmi also filed an application, requesting to restraint Riaz from working as a national assembly member. It is pertinent to mention that on this application, the tribunal has already issued notice to the MNA.
