A 7-member delegation of 93rd National Management Course (NMC) of National Management College, Lahore visited Pakistan Embassy and called on the Ambassador Shahid Kamal, said a press release received from Berlin here on Thursday.
The Ambassador briefed the delegation about the Pak-German relations. While giving an overview of Pak-German relations during the last 60 years, Kamal said that both countries enjoyed excellent relationship and these were growing and strengthening with each passing day.
He said that the government and people of Germany contributed over $300 million towards the donations for flood victims during the recent devastating floods. The participants of the course were on a weeklong foreign study tour to Germany as a part of their training.
During their stay in Berlin, the delegation visited German Foreign Office, German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), German Research Foundation (DFG), Office of the Mayor of Berlin, Ministry of Economic Co-operation and Development (BMZ), German Parliament, Adlershof Science and Technology Park, Hertie School of Governance, and Party HQs of Social Democratic Party (SPD). The participants were briefed on German foreign and security policy, German politics, German Economy, Education and Science & Technology Sectors during their visit to these institutions.-PR
