44 employees of social security department regularised

On Friday 44 employees of social security department were regularized. Punjab Culture and Youth Affairs Minister Dr Tanvir-ul-Islam distributed appointment letters among the employees and distributed cheques amounting to Rs. 300,000 each, as financial grant among the 36 widows of social security employees.
Director Social Security Department Sialkot Zafar Ullah Khan, District Labour Officer Nasrullah, representatives of industrial workers Niaz Ahmed Naji and Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf and a large number of industrial workers present in the function.
While addressing the function, Dr Tanvir-ul-Islam said the government would take every step to protect the interests of industrial workers and 20 percent shares of industrial units would be awarded to the workers so that no industrialist could exploit their rights.
