A bar member Chaudhry Mateenul Haq has challenged the proposed levy of reformed general sales tax (RGST) before the Lahore High Court. The lawyer in his petition says that the levy of RGST will further add to the miseries of already poverty-stricken people of Pakistan. He therefore, prayed to the court to declare the RGST as unconstitutional.
