Committees to ensure uniform supply of sugar

DCO Hyderabad, Aftab Ahmed Khatri has constituted taluka level committees headed by Khuda Dino Shoro, District Officer (Revenue) Hyderabad, to ensure sale and distribution of sugar at controlled price to the people of district.
Through a notification issued here on Monday, the DCO informed that each taluka level committee comprises of DDOs (Revenue) and Mukhtiarkars, who have been assigned to visit utility stores and sale points of wholesale dealers and ensure selling of sugar at prices fixed by the government.
The officers would also check stock and sale records of every utility stores and wholesale dealers/shops/outlets within their respective areas. They would also conduct surprise raids to check black marketing, hoarding and profiteering, and initiate action under relevant section of CrPC and submit daily report to district government Hyderabad in this regard.
