The Swiss franc tracked lower against the euro and the dollar on Tuesday as rising US yields buoyed the greenback and traders bought the euro on dips as it hovered near support levels against the dollar. The single currency will remain in focus on Tuesday as eurozone finance ministers meet to discuss Ireland's debt crisis, with Dublin resisting pressure to seek a state bailout and indicating only its banks may need help.
The franc was 0.1 percent lower against the euro compared to the New York close, trading at 1.3385 francs per euro at 0754 GMT. The franc fell 0.1 percent against the dollar, trading at 0.9848 francs per dollar.
