Fire breakout in the emergency Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Mayo Hospital on Friday evening created harassment among the patients and their relatives. Patients were shifted immediately to other wards and no injury or causality was reported. According to Mayo hospital sources, fire erupted due to short circuit and spread swiftly, frightening patients and their relatives.
The hospital staff, however, shifted the patients safely and no untoward incident took place. Rescue staff immediately reached the hospital and overcome fire within a short span of time.
