Pakistan opening batsman Imran Nazir, was one of the most popular cricketing stars during his hey days, thanks to his hitting abilities and fielding prowess that made him an instant fan favorite.

Nazir promising career came to an unexpected halt due to injuries and fitness issues, fortunately, the hard hitting batsman has managed to recover from the injury and is training these days.

“I have started my training, and am trying to regain my fitness,” said Nazir, quoted the local media. “I have two to three months, till that time, I am hopeful I will gain complete fitness,” said Nazir.

Earlier it was reported that Nazir would be seen in action at the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL). Nazir said he would surely return to cricket, if he deemed himself fit for the game.

“I am thankful towards all my fans, for their support and prayers, which have allowed me to restart my career,” added Nazir.

Nazir last represented Pakistan in 2012, but was a regular at the domestic circuit until 2014, when he suffered a career ending injury.
