Opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Monday claimed that the government is losing confidence of its coalition partners due to the incompetence, inefficiency and bad governance. Addressing a news conference here on Monday in his chamber at Parliament House, Nisar said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would continue holding the government accountable.
"If the coalition partners give support to the opposition particularly PML-N on national issues then incompetence of the government can be controlled effectively like NRO. But in these circumstances, the allied parties should not conduct bargaining with the government for personal interests. Those parties who follow this policy are doing criminal negligence toward the interests of the nation," he said.
"We will strongly oppose and resist if the government tries to restrain e Transparency International from working to collect information form public institutions. In this regard, the PML-N will present adjournment motion in the forthcoming session of the National Assembly," he said.
The opposition leader while clarifying said that the President and the Prime Minister had telephoned Mian Nawaz Sharif to condole on the death of his uncle but it was given another colour. He said that Nawaz Sharif did not give any assurance to the government. He said PML-N had strong reservations on secret deals of the government with America to enhance US military and intelligence network in Pakistan.
