Qul of the mother of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed was held at his residence here on Tuesday. A large number of people hailing from all walks of life, including politicians Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chaudhry Amir Hussein, Ghous Baksh Mehr, Aleem Adil Sheikh, Qasim Zia, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Saeed Mehdi, Mian Atta Mohammad Manika, Chaudhry Zaheer-uddin, Neelofar Bakhtiar, former Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool and others attended the ceremony.
Quran Khawani was held for the eternal peace of departed soul. Earlier, Chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman visited the residence of Mushahid Hussain Sayed to condole with him over the sad demise of his mother. Maulana Fazlur Rehman remained there for sometime and offered "fateha" for the eternal peace of departed soul. The JUI Amir said they were holding talks with the government on the issue of taxes and his party being partner of the government would have to support it.
