In consequence of stern punitive measure taken by the Oil Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) against 22 LPG marketing companies, the LPG Distributor Association of Pakistan (LPGDAP) on Wednesday announced to call off November 25th strike.
Irfan Khokar, chairman LPGDAP in a statement said that the regulatory authority has finally imposed heavy fine on nine LPG marketing companies including Loob Mehran, a marketing companies of JJVL while rest of them are in a raw to face similar sort of action in few days.
He said the LPG distributors had earlier requested the Ogra to take stern action against the LPG marketing companies to eradicate cartelisation. Therefore, the Ogra has tightened the noose around 22 LPG marketing companies to provide maximum relief to the stakeholders.
