Muzaffarabad is one of the beautiful places for tourists to visit, as the AJK government is trying its best to provide them best possible facilities, said Dr Shala Waqar, Secretary Tourism, Information and IT of AJK, while talking to media representatives in regard with promotion of tourism in the region here on Tuesday.
Dr Shala has said that Prime Minister of AJK is trying to initiate more projects in Muzaffarabad to attract not only the domestic, but also the international tourists. While highlighting the projects, she said that currently we are working on 16 projects, including establish of Tolipir hill resort, establish of hill resort in Tatta Pani, development of Chikkar-Sudhangali hill resort, accommodation facilities, publicity network, chairlift/cable cars, development of Dheerkot tourist resort, development of Pirchinassi hill resort, development of food points, development of Nagaishwar tourist resort, development of road side facilities, Up-gradation of tourism development master plan, construction of tourist lodge at Khoiratta and construction of tourist resort in Neelum Valley.
"With the completion of the projects not only the tourist would get facilities, but the economy of AJK would also be increased," she added. General Manager, Pearl Continental Muzaffarabad Aamir Kazi has said that currently we are offering very low packages just to promote the tourism that's why tourists are coming over here and enjoying the best accommodation and other facilities. "Sadruddin Hashwani, Chairman Hashoo Group has taken a courageous step to build international standard hotel in the region, Aamir Qazi said and added that it was a step aiming to attract foreign and local tourists towards the beautiful region.-PR
