President of High Court Bar Association in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) was re-arrested immediately after his release from Kot Bhalwal jail, Jammu. Mian Qayoom's release after quashment of his detention under the black law, Public Safety Act (PSA), proved to be short lived, as he was re-arrested by Hiranagar police and again sent by a court to judicial remand in the same jail.
The Bar President was freed from Kot Bhalwal jail on Monday as his detention under the PSA had been quashed by the High Court. However, as soon as he came out of the jail, he was arrested again by Hiranagar police in connection with a false case registered against him at Hiranagar police station, KMS reported on Tuesday. He was produced before a court, which sent him to 10 days judicial remand.
