Government College University Lahore on Saturday awarded co-circular and sports Rolls of Honour to 33 students and degrees to 600 students of BA/B.Sc (Hons) at the Degree Awarding Ceremony in Bokari Auditorium. GCU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Aftab chaired ceremony.
Usman Mumtaza, Najam-ud-Din, Muhammad Adeel Anjum, Sardar Junaid, Salman Tariq, Syed Mustafa, Shehroze, Rai, Umair, Abbass Nazir, Imran Feroz, Aasim Hameed Lodhi, Nauman Malik, Muhammad Umer Khan, Ummar Zia-ud-Din, Rana Hamza Ijaz, Usman Ali, Hafiz Fraz, Maryam Azeem, Muhmmad Sadiq, Haider Abbass, Jawad Iqbal, Rana Hamza Ijaz and Ali Asgher were awarded co-curricular Rolls of Honour for their extraordinary performance in debates, drama, quiz, music, The Ravi and The Gazette.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Aftab advised the fresh graduates to go for specialisation in their relative fields, saying that their journey of knowledge should not end here. The vice chancellor told the students that they owe deep debt to their country and Alma Mater and advised them pay it off as much as they can. Later, the vice chancellor and head of departments pose for photographs with the students.-PR
