The newly appointed Political Counsellor of British High Commission Joana Roper met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here Saturday and discussed matters of mutual interest. The Chief Minister said that various projects in health and education sectors are being implemented in different areas of the Punjab with the British assistance.
He said that DFID is playing an important role for the uplift of education sector in Punjab for the last number of years. Political Counsellor of British High Commission Joana Roper said that Britain is taking keen interest in the uplift of health and education sectors in Punjab and assistance will continue in this regard.
