ISE index gains 1.94 points

Equities moved both ways at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 01.94 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,901.04 to 2,902.98 points. The overall turnover amounted to 178,733 shares as compared to previous volume of 426,553 shares.
Total 158 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (71) closed in positive territory, 87 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The turnover of D.G. Khan Cement was 33,470 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 32,706 shares. The turnover of Lotte Pakistan PTA was 31,000 shares.
