Chief Justice Lahore High Court, Khawaja Muhammad Sharif adjourned till December 23 the hearing of a petition requesting that the government should be restrained from taking any action for pardoning of Christian blasphemy convict, Aasia Bibi, as the government sought two weeks time.
Advocate Chaudhry Shahid Iqbal filed the petition seeking direction for the federal and provincial governments to abstain from making any move to get Aasia acquitted.
