The Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Tuesday suspended Muhammad Yousaf, Additional District and Sessions Judge/Izafi Zila Qazi Buner, on corruption charges.
The PHC said in its order, "Muhammad Yousaf, Additional District and Sessions Judge/Izafi Zila Qazi Buner, is suspended by the Authorised officer Justice Yahaya Afridi with the approval of Attorney-Honourable the Chief Justice, as the accused officer is proceeded against under the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Government Servant (efficiency and Disciplinary) rules, 1973 for the charge of corruption. This order shall remain effective for a period of three months with effect from Tuesday."
